Newborn Care Classes
We love caring for families in our community, and one of the ways we support new parents is by offering FREE Newborn Care Classes. Led by one of our wonderful pediatricians, this relaxed, one‑and‑a‑half‑hour session walks you through the essentials of keeping your newborn happy, healthy, and thriving. You’ll leave feeling more confident and equipped for those early days of parenthood.

All classes take place just down the hall from our office in Suite 255, located in the St. Vincent Carmel office building at 13450 N. Meridian Street, Carmel, IN. The easiest way to find us is to park near Entrance 4, take the elevator inside the entrance to the second floor, and follow the hallway to the right. We’ll have signs along the way to guide you.

If you’d like to join us, we’d be delighted to have you.

Medication Refill Policy
We’re honored to care for your child and are committed to providing the safest, highest‑quality care possible. Regular medication rechecks are an important part of making sure your child’s treatment stays effective and appropriate. To help things go smoothly, here’s what families can expect:
-
Medication rechecks are required every 90 days unless your physician advises otherwise. We encourage you to schedule your next visit before you leave the office—ideally about a week before the 90‑day mark—so there’s no interruption in your child’s medication. These visits help your physician follow proper guidelines and maintain compliance with their medical license.
-
For medication refills, please contact us at least one week in advance. This gives your child’s physician time to review and send the prescription, especially if they are out of the office. If requests come in too close to running out, we may not be able to refill in time. Please don’t wait until only a pill or two remain.
-
Your physician may send three separate monthly prescriptions to your pharmacy. Controlled substances cannot legally have “refills,” which is why they are sent as individual prescriptions. Before calling us, please check with your pharmacy—they may already have the next prescription on file.
-
When requesting a new prescription, please have your pharmacy name, phone number, and zip code ready so we can process your request quickly.
-
Physicians are unable to respond to refill requests after hours or on weekends. After‑hours contact should be reserved for urgent medical needs.
